Creative Marketing by Design My name is N. Joanna Foor, owner of Foor Creative. I am a Certified Master Virtual Assistant (MVA) with 23 years of experience, an Internet Veteran and an admitted “geekette”. As the owner of Foor Creative, I use a combination of graphic design and marketing techniques to help my clients grow their business. My motto is "You have to be credible to be incredible!" I have the ability to transform stand-alone technologies and services into a seamless, value-rich solution.
The skills I have obtained in my sixteen year professional career in addition to over seven years working virtually have helped me establish a professional reputation of exceeding my clients objectives. As a certified Master Virtual Assistant (MVA), I hold one of most respected designations in the Virtual Assistant industry. In addition, I hold 12 Brainbench certifications, many at master level. In May 2001, I decided to leave the 'brick and mortar' business world to become a Virtual Assistant. By capitalizing on the latest technology, such as business class broadband Internet service, real-time messaging and FTP access, I provide my services virtually - leaving you free to focus on growing YOUR business! You may be wondering.... How did I get started in the Virtual Assistant field? I was searching for a way to turn my professional experience into my own business, when I came across an article about Virtual Assisting on the Internet. I spent six-months researching the idea and with the encouragement of my husband, decided to take the plunge and quit my full-time job to start my business. What is my education and background?
In addition to 18 years of professional experience I hold a 2-year degree in computer technology from a technical college. I am a certified Master Virtual Assistant, the highest designation in the VA industry and I also hold 12 Brainbench skill-set certifications. My background is varied, ranging from the Financial and Nationwide Services industries to Manufacturing, Construction and Retail Management at the corporate level. What have previous employers said about me? "I recently had the pleasure of working with Joanna Foor and I have to tell you, its no wonder the sales department hums like a top. Her ability to make it happen is only surpassed by her knowledge and the professionalism of which she has brought to the sales and marketing department." - Rodney Wray, President/CEO, Sanact Inc. "I am extremely pleased with your performance, particularly your no nonsense work habits, self motivation, business judgment and quality of output. You have the brains and attitude to make a positive contribution and real difference at Photosea. We are all very pleased to have you on board." - John Chew, Director of Marketing, HydroVision/Photosea What are my top VA qualities?
I have extensive technical and Internet skills. I handle multiple projects with ease. I am highly organized. I am intuitive and creative. I am committed to obtaining success for my clients. Do I like being a VA? I love the challenge of having my own business and helping my clients focus on growing their business. Using technology to work with people from as far away as India or as close as the Bay Area is exciting and the opportunities are really limitless. Actually, that's one of the best things about being a Virtual Assistant, building long-term and collaborative relationships with people from around the world. What does it take to be a successful VA?
In order to be successful in this industry you need to have experience, be professional, highly organized and really enjoy (if not love) technology. What makes me stand out above the rest?
My diverse background and experience has given me a thorough understanding of good business technique and professional protocol. In addition, my ability to formulate unique and creative solutions is something that my clients have come to depend on. What is my "typical" job turnaround?
24-72 hours. |
